The FIQ approach

Communication
intelligence.
Put into practice.

FIQ combines AI-supported communication analysis with expert, coach-led training to help leaders understand the relationship between intent, perception, and impact.

See the signals you send. Understand what matters. Develop how you show up.

A fuller picture of your communication

Communication is more than the words you choose.

Every interaction brings together your message, voice, facial expressions, and body language. These signals work together to shape how your communication is experienced.

FIQ helps make those patterns more visible, so you and your coach can explore whether they support the impact you intend.

01 / Verbal

The message

The words you choose and how you structure what you want to say.

02 / Vocal

The delivery

Your pace, tone, pitch, energy, and use of pauses.

03 / Facial

The expression

Facial behavior, including microexpressions, considered in context.

04 / Nonverbal

The presence

Body language and other observable behaviors that accompany your message.

The value is in understanding how the signals work together.

From insight to application

A development process.
Built around you.

FIQ moves beyond a single analysis or moment of feedback. Communication intelligence, expert guidance, and focused practice become part of an ongoing development process.

Your goals give that process direction. FIQ’s 4Cs for Influential Communication give you and your coach a shared framework.

Explore the 4Cs

See it. Understand it. Train it.
Apply it. Measure the change.

  1. 01

    See it

    Establish your baseline.

Use communication analysis to gain visibility into observable verbal, vocal, facial, and nonverbal patterns. This gives you and your coach a starting point for development.

  2. 02

    Understand it

    Put the signals in context.

Work with an FIQ coach or trainer to interpret those patterns in relation to your goals and the situations you navigate. Together, identify which behaviors are most useful to work on.

  3. 03

    Train it

    Practice with intention.

Focus on specific, trainable behaviors through targeted coaching and guided exercises. Turn broad feedback into practical adjustments you can understand and rehearse.

  4. 04

    Apply it

Bring the work into real moments.

Apply what you're developing to the conversations, presentations, interviews, and leadership moments that matter to you.

  5. 05

    Measure the change

    Revisit. Reflect. Refine.

Revisit your communication over time to see where behaviors are changing, what remains consistent, and where further practice is needed. Use that insight to guide the next stage of development.

Measure the change over time

Development
you can measure.

By establishing a baseline and comparing communication patterns over time, FIQ helps you and your coach measure changes in the behaviors you’re working on and see where practice is making a difference.

Measurement is most useful when it informs your next step. Review what has changed, what has stayed consistent, and what still needs attention in relation to your communication goals.

Establish your baseline.
Measure change. Refine your practice.

A continuous measurement cycle

01 /

Where are you starting?

Establish a baseline of observable communication patterns to compare against over time.

02 /

What is changing?

Compare later sessions with your baseline to assess changes in the behaviors you’ve been practicing.

03 /

What comes next?

Use the measurement findings and your coach’s guidance to focus further practice.

Your baseline. Your goals. Change measured over time.

The approach in practice

A framework.
A different perspective.

Deirdre’s 4Cs framework redefined my communication style. Practicing exercises on the FIQ AI platform helped me pinpoint the nuances of clear delivery, the power of brevity and how body language and facial expressions can support my messaging. I’ve moved from simply sharing information to projecting genuine calm and confidence every time I speak.

A few things worth knowing

Before you
take the next step.

Is FIQ a personality assessment?

No. FIQ focuses on observable communication behaviors and how those signals may be perceived. It is designed to support communication effectiveness, not label your personality or change who you are.

Does AI replace the coach?

No. AI supports the analysis. FIQ coaches and trainers provide the context, interpretation, and application that turn those insights into practical communication adjustments.

Is this just body language training?

Body language is one input. FIQ looks more broadly at communication impact, including verbal, vocal, facial, and other nonverbal signals, and how those signals work together.
